The Commission

The couple wanted nothing that resembled a wedding album. We built the day backwards — starting at midnight in a suite above the Duomo, ending at sunrise in an empty piazza.

Every frame was made with a single hard source and whatever light Milan offered. The black slip gown was a deliberate refusal of tradition; the veil was the only concession.

Twelve final images were delivered. Three were later syndicated across editorial press with the couple's blessing.
